Let Go Lightly | Adventures in California

Last week I took a mini-cation with friend and fellow wedding photographer, Carly (—–> check out her blog). We zipped down to Monterrey, drove along the coast to Big Sur, Carmel, and up to Santa Cruz. California is stunning and cold (much to my surprise). A few of my favorite stops were: Monterrey Bay Aquarium, a random wharf where we found seals (who like to pose), the views of Big Sur, and the quirky town and boardwalk of Santa Cruz. We spent the last day exploring San Fransisco. I LOVE San Fransisco! I can’t wait to take Josh out there to see more of the city.

Carly and I had so many great talks about the positive change we want to be. Not just with our businesses, with our lives. The longer I live the more I realize life is way too short not to live intentionally. I want to be a support the people around me. Call it cheesy, but it’s the truth. Why live any other way?
